EYFS and Upper Key Stage Two Learning Assistant at Worsley Bridge Primary School
30 hours per week plus 5 hours midday meals supervisor role, term time only
We are seeking a passionate and committed Learning Assistant to join the team at Worsley Bridge Primary School.
At Worsley Bridge we have a team of warm, friendly and hardworking staff who strive to challenge and support pupils to achieve their potential from an early age. We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and talented Learning Assistant to work under the direction of the Class Teacher to promote development and learning and help to ensure full participation.
We would like someone who has experience of working with children, a Teaching Assistant qualification (NVQ or similar Level 2/3) and excellent numeracy and literacy skills are essential, as well as good communication skills.
The ideal candidate will ideally have experience in similar role and be able to demonstrate;
· a range of strategies to support children in a learning environment
· a range of behaviour management strategies and teaching skills
· be well organised and have high expectations of achievement and behaviour
· the ability to work as part of a team
· possess excellent communication skills at all levels in order to be able to liaise effectively with teachers, parent/carers.

This role is for 30 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks), this is reflected in the pro rata’d salary, with 5 additional hours as a lunchtime supervisor.
